CONSTITUTION

The Malaysian Blood Transfusion Society is registered under the Registrar of Societies (ROS), which outlines the following:

1. Objectives and Activities:

• The core purpose of the society and the activities it undertakes to achieve that purpose.

2. Membership:

• Who can be a member of the society, membership requirements and fees.

3. Management Structure:

• How the society is governed, including the positions (e.g., president, secretary, treasurer) and their responsibilities.

• How office bearers are elected or appointed.

4. Meetings:

• Procedures for holding Annual General Meetings (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGM), including voting rights and quorum requirements.

5. Finances:

• How the society's funds are managed, including collection, spending, and record-keeping procedures.

6. Amendments:

• The process for amending the constitution itself.

7. Dissolution:

• The process for dissolving the society, if necessary.
